Rodney is an Australian musician who specialises in the recorder. His repertoire is eclectic, with a particular interest in improvisation. In 2001, his album, Água e Vinho, with guitarist Doug de Vries, was released by ECM Records, Germany. His latest recording is an independently released improvised duo album with recorder player Ryan Williams; 'Venus Bay Fireside Sessions.'
